lol, 33Mhz, those processors are worth about a dollar now, if they we're still sold.
What was the RAM, 8MB?

w00t! 3 floppy drives. Fianlly, I can double-copy those 5.25" disks I have laying around. Worth the extra $5,000 if you ask me.

I think the ram at this point must have been about 2MB or even less. It would not surprise me if 1MB of ram at the time of this picture is equivalent in "coolness" as 1GB today.

computers are so cheap now...especially considering inflation and now you can build a PC for like 350 or less and it will actually work ok.

Well the ram being sold in the magazine ranges from 128k to 8 Megs. The 8 meg sticks are mostly over a $1000 but some exceed $2000. I guess the $2000 dollar sticks are for the consumate overclockers.

man...memories....heck, learned to use pc's on older ones then that !!! LOL, my pc experience was, let's say, 83-84 (HIGHSCHOOL) when i begin... man I am old !!!

Well honestly I was spoiled. We had Apple III's when we were in elementary school.
Highschool still saw us using electric (not electronic) typewriters though. Typing was a very loud class.

odds are high that 4MB was the roof for those, 1MB for a 25MHz 386 was more realistic for the time. (I have many in my basement)
