Yeah I don't like the optional wheels on this car. I like the Titanium Silver (which unfortunately is avail in 2006) and those style rims but they are non chrome.

Electronic Valve control
Electronic Throttle
4.6L V-8
Brand new built from scratch

built from scratch?? that's not the way ford operates! "Overall, about 30 percent of the new platform's content is shared with other Ford vehicles--mostly things like fasteners (shared with the Mazda 6 built at the same Flat Rock, Michigan, assembly plant where the Mustang will be built), door hinges, and environmental controls" not to mention the actual frame from the mazda 6.
it is a pretty nice car imo, but im sort of dissapointed in the fact that ford at this point in time cannot design and build a vehicle that will evolve into a beautiful machine down the road, rather they have to rehash design cues from older successfull models in hopes of making a quick buck.
with that being said, here's a spy shot of the 2010 mustang: http://www.88honeylane.freeserve.co....rd_mustang.jpg

Seems to be the thing. Unlike political views, car companies are supposed to sway with the wind... Whatever the people want, that's what they build. It seems people are longing for the retro stuff. I think it will be a great seller. Should help Ford stock, too, which I want some shares of.

well yeah, my truck has 120hp, 121 torque, a 4 speaker stereo system, a vynal wrapped steering wheel cover, and 0-60 in two days.
Oh yeah, it also gets 19 miles to the gallon.

Hmmm LS1 - 350hp/tq, and now LS2 400hp/tq. Seems like ford is 8 years behind and still slow.
And it's got the aerodynamics of a brick now. I bet it runs low 14s.

It still has that old look, but I know that everyone cares about the engine...and what it does
Impressive standard horsepower. Mine has 440 BHP RX-7 (1999). I don't do much of modification though.

Yep I'd rather take a RX7 or a MX5 if I wanted a joyride car.
However I like the look from the front wheels to the back, the front just makes me wince.
