Now take all the keys off your keyboard and give them a light scrubbing. Clean the backboard and reinstall the keys. Don't try to remove the space bar. You'll break it.
Cheers!

I don't know how much I like the RAM IC's coming in contact with the cloth and rounded cables though. Did you use a anti static strap?
Cheers!

Nylon bristle paint brush for what?
Magnetic bit screwdriver? You weren't near the computer with that were you? It's looking like pretty rookie'ish disesembly.
There are some do's and don't's to the trade I'm afraid.
Cheers!

Why dont you paint the inside of the case while you have a chance?
I personally dont like the look of steel in most cases, a nice flat black usually looks good.
Taking a part a keyboard to clean it? If it is a keyboard that the top is all one layer or I can remove the keys and the rest of the keyboard easily, I stick those pieces in an empty dishwasher and run it on rinse or light wash. Takes everything out from them and completely cleans it for me. If not I just wash it down and then use compressed air at a lower pressure and blow the dust and hairs out of it.

I wish I had pictures of when I did mine. I just took it all apart and taped off the areas that I didn't want paint because I did two colours. Candy apple red and a navy blue. I had a mix of lighted fans. Two were blue and the rest were red. Two in the front were blue and shine out through the air intake and two red in the back as well as one red on the side.
I did the motherboard area as blue as well as most of the inside case. The rest of the stuff like where the pci slots were, those were red. The area in the back that wasn't raised around the pci and motherboard connects were blue and the pci stuff and motherboard connectors were red. I painted most of the pci card covers that I didn't either have a warranty or much value. Those were painted blue to accent the pci slots themselves. I painted a few things on the back like around the power supply and the power supply itself.
The five and a quarter bays were painted red, and so was the hard drive racks, that was all painted red.
The door panels were painted blue since it was shiny and the blue fans in the front made them look good.
I used primer to make the colors stand out and then an acrylic paint to do the inside.
I recently dyed some of my monitors with vinyl dye and made them look a lot better, especially the beige ones. A silver or flat black looks much better and pretty much natural if you use vinyl dyes.
Magnetic screw drivers usually are too weak to degauss your hard drive, and you dont need an antistatic wrist strap if you often ground yourself on the case or keep in contact with it.
I think you would be better off not using the cloth on your washer and just either getting out antistatic bags or be careful about laying them on the surface.
